Introduction of Nanodiamonds
Nanodiamonds are composed of a diamond core and amorphous carbon surrounding layers. The form, core, and surface of nanodiamonds are the most important characteristics of their structure. New applications include data storage and medicine administration to the body. Nanodiamond material can be combined with organic or metallic binding materials to create resin-bond diamond or metal-bond diamond, which is used to manufacture cutting tools in the abrasives business.
