TAWI AB was established in 1923 as Tage Wiberg Limited Company. Originally it was a manufacturing company within the Swedish steel industry. In the 1940’s the company was acquired by Gunnebo, one of the largest competitors at the time. Folke Wilhelmsson "became manager. In 1989 Convacor, manufacturer of VacuMyggan vacuum lifter, was acquired. TAWI launched the vacuum lifter on the international market, starting the journey to become the market leader in manual lifting equipment. Further, Protema and Lyftman were acquired in 1997, adding lifting trolleys and crane systems to the product range. Since January 2020, TAWI has been part of the Piab group. TAWI products are distributed through a worldwide network of distributors, and Piab offices in the US and Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, China, Brazil, and Australia. |

With a TAWI High-frequency lifter can grip and lift quickly and easily with just one hand. The suction foot can hold most types of packaged goods.
Quick and easy This high-speed vacuum lifter picks up boxes of all shapes and sizes, securely gripping them from the top or the side. Whenever you need to load or unload packaged goods, the TAWI High-frequency lifter will make the job effortless, efficient, and ergonomic. The comfortable handle lets you pick up loads using only one hand, easily controlling lifting height with fingertips. The control is quickly adjusted from the right to the left side of the handle to suit left- or right-handed users. Time-efficient handling Loading or unloading pallets has never been easier. Pick up goods from the top or the side, turn the load if needed, and quickly release it in the exact position where you need it. A swivel integrated into both the top and bottom of the tube lifter allows you to rotate the goods and not the lifter, ensuring high precision. The quick-release function makes sure no time is wasted when releasing the load. TAWI High-frequency lifter facilitates high-frequency lifting, streamlining the manual handling of goods in any logistic department, distribution centre, or warehouse. Custom made for load The suction feet used to grip the load comes in various shapes and sizes and can also be custom made to fit load.
