Albert Fezer Maschinenfabrik GmbH was founded in 1925 by Albert Fezer and Gottlieb Stoll as FESTO. In 1933, Albert Fezer left FESTO and found Albert Fezer Maschinenfabrik. In 1945, its woodworking area was expanded to include shortening and trimming saws. In 1952, its new building and relocation of the company to the headquarters in Esslingen-Zell. In 1957, the search for solutions for fixing wooden panels led to the entry into vacuum technology. In 1965, it started of production for the first vacuum transport devices with vacuum pumps and accumulators. In 1975, its woodworking division was expanded to include joinery systems for processing roof beams. In 1976, the company built the first large vacuum cross beams with several tons load capacity. In 1991, it launched the first coil-lifting devices for the transport of slit strip rings. In 2001, the company presented a new hose lifter VacuPowerlift in a modular system. In 2006, the company completed the expansion of the international sales structure through new trading partners in Eastern Europe and Asia. In 2020, it introduced the new multi-chamber profiles with low dead weight and increased load capacity for crane systems up to 500 kg. |
