First Meijer Grocery store in Indiana opened Indiana’s first Meijer Grocery store opened on Thursday, marking the second state where the regional grocer has brought the smaller format. Located at 5956 Promenade Shops Blvd. in Noblesville, Indiana, the new store offers a fresh food department, deli counter, bakery and full pharmacy. The Noblesville store is the third under the retailer’s Meijer Grocery format, which debuted at the start of last year with two locations in Michigan. |

Meijer Opened New Supercenters in Alliance and North Canton Meijer opened two new 159,000-square-foot supercenters in Northeast Ohio today, bringing its state-of-the-art, one-stop shopping experience to customers in Alliance and North Canton. Located at 2500 West State St. in Alliance and 1505 N. Main St. in North Canton, the new stores feature convenient digital shopping solutions, including Shop & Scan, which allows shoppers to scan barcodes via a mobile app and bag their items as they shop to make checkout convenient. The stores also feature deep discounts on surplus food via the Flashfood app, expanded areas for Meijer Home Delivery and Pickup services, and mPerks rewards to help customers earn on every dollar spent. |

Meijer Introduces New Grocery Store Concept to Provide Fresh, Convenient Shopping Options Closer to Home Meijer introduced a new brick-and-mortar store concept today, coined Meijer Grocery, that will provide convenience for customers who are looking for a simplified shopping experience, while providing communities easier access to fresher foods. The first two Meijer Grocery stores will open in early 2023 in neighborhoods within southeast Michigan's Orion Township and Macomb Township. The new concept is the retailer's latest since first introducing the neighborhood market small format concept in August 2018 with the opening of Bridge Street Market on Grand Rapids' west side. |
