 Business Segment/ Overview:

•    Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. is a global offshore energy services company that provides specialty services to the offshore energy industry, with a particular focus on well intervention, robotics, and production facilities. The company’s operations are strategically structured into three core business segments: Well Intervention, Robotics, and Production Facilities.
•    The Well Intervention segment is the company’s largest and most prominent business line. It offers services designed to optimize the performance and extend the productive life of subsea oil and gas wells. Through its fleet of advanced vessels, riser-based and riserless intervention systems, and intervention riser systems (IRS), Helix provides critical services such as well decommissioning, well enhancement, and well integrity management. These operations reduce the need for more expensive drilling rigs while offering flexible, efficient, and safe solutions to offshore operators, primarily in deepwater environments like the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, and West Africa.
•    The Robotics segment operates remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), trenchers, and seabed excavation systems that support subsea construction, maintenance, inspection, and decommissioning projects. This business primarily serves offshore oil and gas fields, renewable energy installations (like offshore wind farms), and subsea cable-laying operations. Helix’s fleet of work-class ROVs and trenching systems is deployed via third-party vessels or through dedicated chartered support vessels, providing customers with seabed intervention services such as pipeline trenching, seabed clearance, and cable burial.
•    The Production Facilities segment includes the Helix Producer I, a floating production unit capable of processing hydrocarbons from offshore fields and transferring oil to tankers while exporting gas via pipelines. This asset provides flexible production capacity in deepwater locations, allowing clients to monetize offshore discoveries without the need for permanent infrastructure. Additionally, this segment includes Helix’s equity interest in the Gulf of Mexico-based Helix Fast Response System (HFRS), an emergency response solution designed to contain subsea blowouts.
•    Together, these business segments position Helix Energy Solutions as a specialized and versatile service provider capable of delivering integrated offshore energy solutions across the well lifecycle from development and intervention to decommissioning with an increasing emphasis on safety, environmental stewardship, and cost efficiency.
•    Helix Alliance utilizes saturation diving extensively to support its subsea operations in the Gulf of Mexico, deploying a fleet of live and four-point air and saturation diving vessels capable of working in depths up to 1,000 feet. The company enhances its subsea capabilities with proprietary technology like a dedicated pipeline removal system on the DSV Crusader, an integrated SAT system on the DSV Explorer, and multiple portable saturation diving systems including the HOSS I 12-man unit which can be installed on vessels of opportunity for flexible, efficient subsea project execution.
