Description

Trays

ADV Tray

It has fully optimized structure, contributing to the most efficient vale tray. This tray has been successfully applied in more than 5000 industrial columns, and the largest column diameter is 10.2m.

Advantages

  • ADV valve, bubble promoter and new connect joint structures help to eliminate dead bubbling zone on the tray;
  • New down-comer structure helps to eliminate liquid stagnant flow on the tray;
  • High tray efficiency. The actual efficiency is close to 100% in propylene fractionator, so it is especially suitable for ethylene fractionator, propylene fractionator, xylene distillation column and other precise distillation system;
  • High capacity. Its capacity increased by 30% than a traditional float valve tray.

MDV Tray

It is a high-capacity, multi-downcomer tray with multi-pass tray flow characteristics. It has been applied in C3 splitter revamp successfully.

Advantages

  • Liquid on the tray present ideal plug flow and uniform bubble;
  • BPV valves are applied on the tray below downcomer, which completely eliminates tray leakage;
  • Tray efficiency is increased by 20% compared to traditional multi-downcomer trays;
  • Suitable for high liquid loading case, high-pressure distillation and absorption system.

CD Catalytic Tray

CDT catalytic distillation tray is a mature technology, which has been applied in several industrial units as a reaction/fractionation device. The reaction efficiency and distillation efficiency are increased synchronously, which is applicable to most reactive distillation processes.

ADE Extraction Tray

  • It is a technology which has been applied in wide industrial units successfully.
  • The back-mixing flow of continuous phase on the tray and in the downcomer are eliminated by special designed structures. The interfacial contact between dispersed phase and continuous phase is strengthened, and its extractive efficiency is 50% higher than conventional sieve LLE tray.

Conventional Trays

Zehua can design and supply conventional trays, such as conventional valve tray (including light and heavy valve), bubble cap tray (including round cap and rectangular cap), sieve tray, dual-flow tray, shower deck tray, baffle tray, etc.

Packing

Sepak Packing

  • It is a structured packing includes two categories, namely corrugated-sheet type and metal gauze type, which could be in metal, ceramic and plastic.
  • With unique surface treatment of corrugated sheet metal, liquid will form thin film on the surface, increasing the surface area and efficiency;
  • Its packing performance has been certified by several multinational companies;
  • The largest diameter of industrial application is 11m.

SPR Packing

It is structured random packing innovatively combine the advantages of both structured and random packing. It acts as a random packing characteristic, but with much more capacity and higher efficiency. Both experimental and industrial application show its outstanding performance, with more than 50% increase in capacity and efficiency compared with conventional random packing

Advantages

  • Refrain from wall-flow effect and amplification effect, which could be applied in large industrial column;
  • Substitute for random packing, featuring with higher efficiency, smaller column diameter and lower investment;
  • Particularly suitable for absorption process of high liquid loading and high-pressure distillation process.

MSR Packing

  • It is a random packing combines the advantages of ring packing and saddle packing, could be used in the field of rectification, absorption and extraction process.
  • Refrain from wall-flow effect and amplification effect, which could be applied in large industrial column;
  • Higher proportional open space divided by inner tridimensional wing makes liquid distribution easier with more surface area and more dripping points;
  • Capacity of MSR -II random packing is increased by 25% compared with conventional random packing.
  • Capacity of MSR-III random packing is increased by 35% compared with conventional random packing.

Conventional Packing

  • It can also design and supply conventional random packing, such as Ring-R, Ring-P, Ring-I, Ring-C, etc.
  • Material could be in metal, ceramic and plastic;
  • With full-automatic production line, the product quality could be controlled on a large scale.

Column Internals

FDT Vapor Distributor

FDT vapor/flashing feed distributor are mainly applicable to packed column, especially structured packing column with large diameter. Vapor distribution has a great impact on packing efficiency. With CFD fluid simulation, we can find the optimal structure of vapor/flashing feed distributor, with uniform vapor distribution and low pressure drop. Phase separation is taking into consideration for mixed phase feeding.

There are 6 types of FDT distributor, such as pipe type, vapor horn, gallery type, baffle type, vane type and flashing chamber, which are designed and supplied to meet different conditions.

LDT Liquid Distributor

LDT liquid distributor/redistributor is a key part of packed column, which affects the ability of packing efficiency significantly. Generally, liquid distribution point is 60-130 per m2, and the minimum liquid loading is 0.5 m3/m2/hr. Unevenness of trough type Liquid distributor can be less than 5%, and the operating flexibility can be up to 20: 1.

There are 7 types of LDT distributor/redistributor, such as through type, channel type, deck type, pan type, pipe type, spray nozzle type and wall wiper, which are designed and supplied to meet different conditions.

LCT Liquid Collector

LCT liquid collector are mainly used to collect liquid from upper packing bed and ensure uniform vapor distribution. There are 4 types of LDT distributor/redistributor, such as chimney tray type, trough type, chevron type and wall wiper type, which are designed and supplied to meet different conditions.

  • Low pressure drop and uniform vapor distribution;
  • Leak proof;
  • Provide appropriate residence time for liquid drawing out;
  • In some case, liquid distribution function is required as well;
  • Thermal expansion should be considered for high temperature condition;
  • Reduce space occupation as much as possible.

PST Packing Support

Different type of PST packing support is designed according to different packing. Ensure enough vapor passage and structure strength, and save space as much as possible.

HD Packing Limiter

Different type of HD hold down grid is designed according to different packing. Ensure enough vapor passage and make sure packing is fixed in the packing bed.
