Borrower Paid Mortgage Insurance |
Arch Capital Group Ltd. Offers borrower-paid mortgage services directly. However, they do offer a range of financial products, including mortgage insurance. Mortgage insurance is often used by borrowers to protect lenders in case of default, and it can be structured as borrower-paid or lender-paid, depending on the terms of the loan. In the case of borrower-paid mortgage insurance (BPMI), the borrower pays the premiums, usually monthly, to the mortgage insurer until the loan-to-value ratio drops below a certain threshold, often 80%. |
