Cipla Health strengthens its play in beauty and personal care
A business transfer agreement has been struck by Cipla Health Limited to acquire the marketing and distribution of Ivia Beaute Private Limited's personal care and cosmetics business. IVIA's global brands Astaberry, Ikin, and Bhimsaini will be covered under the deal. This calculated action fits nicely with Cipla's objective to improve its portfolio of consumer healthcare and wellness products. With a more than 16-year brand history, Astaberry provides distinctive skincare products. These companies add dependable and potent products to CHL's skin care portfolio, enhancing its offers. After specific BTA conditions are met, the "Undertaking" will be transferred, and CHL will take over product distribution and marketing. Through the acquisition, Cipla expands on its established footprint in Tier 2–6 cities and fortifies its position in the beauty and personal care industry. Because of its robust offline and online distribution capabilities and consumer data engine, CHL is well-positioned to take advantage of the beauty and personal care market. The majority of these brands are now market leaders in their specific niches.
