Segmentation Analysis

Based on the cycle segment, the fresh IVF cycle segment is reported to dominate the market. A fresh IVF cycle is when an IVF cycle is completed using eggs and embryos that were never frozen. Once the eggs are retrieved, they are immediately fertilized by semen in the lab and after letting them grow for 5 days into the blastocyst stage, then they are implanted into a woman’s uterus. The success rates of fresh cycles have always been higher. For instance, a 2020 study by the National Library of Medicine analyzed 36,925 IVF cycles and found that fresh eggs have better success rates than frozen eggs. The fresh eggs had a 47.7% live birth rate. (Source: https://www.apricityfertility.com/uk/blog/fresh-versus-frozen-eggs)
