What is Heparin API?
Heparin is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that inhibits the development of blood clots. Heparin API is the most often utilized anticoagulant in a variety of medical treatments. It is critical in the management and prevention of blood clots during surgical and medical procedures.
Heparin is available as an intravenous (into a vein) or deep under the skin injection solution, as well as a dilute solution for injection into intravenous catheters. Heparin is occasionally injected one to six times each day, and it is sometimes administered slowly and continuously into the vein. Heparin is often used to prevent blood clots from developing in intravenous catheters when the catheter is first placed and every time blood is collected from the catheter or medicine is administered through the catheter.
Heparin API is often made from animal and bovine sources and comes in three forms: unfractionated heparin, low molecular weight heparins, and ultra-low molecular weight heparin (ULMWH). There are now various heparin products on the market, including Heparin Sodium API, Heparin Calcium API, and many more.
