Tata Sierra Petrol, Diesel and EV Launching Together This Year
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch three new vehicles in 2025, including the Harrier EV, the Altroz facelift, and the Sierra. The Harrier EV is expected to debut around April-May 2025, while the Altroz facelift could arrive by mid-2025. The Tata Sierra, set to be a major release, is anticipated to launch during the festive season.
Although Tata Motors has not officially confirmed the launch date for the new Sierra, sources suggest that both the Sierra ICE and Sierra EV versions could be released simultaneously by the end of 2025, likely around Diwali. It's possible that Tata may follow the Curvv's approach of launching the EV model first, followed by the ICE version, although both versions might debut together.
The Sierra will be the first Tata model to offer both ICE and EV powertrains. The ICE variant will be available with both petrol and diesel options. It will also introduce Tata's new 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will also power the Safari and Harrier, while the diesel version will use the 2.0-liter Kryotech engine currently found in the Harrier and Safari.
