Dr Reddys Laboratories subsidiary Aurigene launches AI ML assisted drug discovery platform
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories subsidiary Aurigene has unveiled Aurigene.AI, a platform powered by AI and ML that expedites drug development efforts from hit detection to candidate nomination. Users can choose the right algorithms for each application by utilising a platform that integrates Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD), generative and predictive AI models, and sophisticated physics-based simulation. As training data, the platform also has a carefully selected database with 180 million compounds and 1.6 million verified bioassay data points. Hosted on Google Cloud, Aurigene.AI provides a scalable infrastructure that can handle massive datasets and speedy computations while maintaining the privacy of client data. According to CEO of Aurigene Akhil Ravi, developing innovative therapies more quickly will be made possible by fusing Aurigene's core competencies in chemical design, synthesis, and bioassay evaluation with AI and ML-based solutions. Using a case study, Aurigene's discovery scientists validated the platform and demonstrated how Aurigene can be applied. The cycle time from chemical design to synthesis and testing was shortened by 35% thanks to AI.
