Market Position/ History |
Zuccato Energia srl. was created in 2006 as Enernova Srl by Alessandro Zuccato, an Italian entrepreneur, and scientist Beniamino Benato. In 2009, Zuccato Energia focused its research on Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems, abandoning alternative technologies due to their low efficiency. Zuccato Energia wins its first order in 2011 for a plant with two ZE-50-ULH 50-kWE ORC modules for the Rottensteiner company in Renon (near Bozen, South Tyrol). The first plant outside of Italian territory is erected in the early months of 2014: the Benneckenstein facility in Germany's Saxony-Anhalt region. Currently, the firm focuses on creating clean power with no CO2 emissions. |
