SANY Group was founded by Liang Wengen, Tang Xiuguo, Mao Zhongwu and Yuan Jinhua in 1986. In 1989, the company was officially renamed to Hunan SANY Group Co., Ltd., and their headquarters were moved to Changsha. Further, in 1994, Hunan SANY Group Co., Ltd., was divided into Hunan SANY Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., and Hunan SANY Materials Industry Co., Ltd. SANY independently developed high-pressure, truck-mounted concrete pump with a large displacement. In 1995, Hunan SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., had changed their name to SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. followed by in 2004, SANY Holding Ltd. had changed their name to SANY Group Co., Ltd. In 2012, SANY had acquired significant German based concrete machinery manufacturer Putzmeister. Further, in 2014, SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, and Austria-based PALFINGER AG had established two joint ventures in which both parties held 50% shares. |
