Market Position/ History |
Prosertek was established in 1992 by a team with technical expertise from Inbadelca S.A., a company specializing in technical rubber. By 1995, Prosertek had become one of leader in the Spanish market and introduced its first innovation: Quick Release Hooks. In 1998, the company's growing fender product line led to the creation of a specialized engineering subsidiary, Kit 98. Expansion continued in 2000 with the development of Berthing Aid Systems and marine gangways. As product complexity increased, the company formed Kareletik in 2009 to focus on advanced software for Docking Assisted Monitoring. Prosertek broadened its portfolio in 2010 with marine cranes, fire monitor towers, and passenger boarding bridges. In 2013, all Prosertek entities were unified under a single corporate identity to streamline operations and branding. International expansion began in earnest with Prosertek LAC in Colombia (2016) and Prosertek America in the USA (2017), enhancing access to North and South American markets. By 2019, Prosertek had extended its global presence to Oceania with a new office in Australia, reinforcing its commitment to internationalization and its position as a global leader in port equipment solutions. |
