Market Position/ History |
When the company was founded in 1984, PARATRONIC's activity was entirely focused on securing electronic equipment most exposed to atmospheric disturbances. Historically, PARATRONIC has worked closely with users working in the water and environment sectors. The original business of analyzing sites for lightning risks and manufacturing surge protection modules was quickly supplemented by the development and marketing of level sensors resistant to lightning strikes. During the 1990s, a department dedicated to “Natural Risks” was created and quickly became a reference for the development and manufacture of flood warning systems. |

ADELIE fire monitoring system |
ADELIE Video fire detection system in natural spaces The ADELIE system is designed for the detection, confirmation, localization, alert and monitoring of fires in natural areas. It is composed of multispectral detection cameras with embedded artificial intelligence and/or doubt removal cameras. These different cameras are placed on several high points to cover the area to be monitored. The ADELIE system allows: Automatic monitoring 24/7 of the natural areas covered by the cameras Analysis of each area covered every 3 minutes Raising an alarm when a fire is suspected Locating fires on a digital map Allowing remote viewing of the monitored area Centralizing all information and sharing it with the command center, operational teams, and management, to partners To adapt the commitment of resources based on observations To have information following the archived images To help with investigations To be scalable and to interface with different systems geographic information and alert processing in place (NF399) To interface with human surveillance (watchtower). This automatic forest fire detection system allows, from one or more high points and up to the horizon, day and night and over 360 degrees, the monitoring, detection and location of fire outbreaks. Each site is equipped with a camera system associated with a processing unit housing image processing algorithms derived from artificial intelligence. The information, images and detections carried out are transmitted instantly to the CTA/CODIS or the fire PC, where operators benefit from a real-time visualization of the event, automatic location of the start of the fire and “augmented reality” functionalities allowing them to immediately understand the context, scale, evolution and challenges of the event. The detection cameras installed on the watchtower ensure complete monitoring of the fire, from detection to extinction. The ADELIE forest fire monitoring system can also integrate meteorological data if the site where it is installed is equipped with a weather station. Finally, the ADELIE system also allows for feedback: the system can store captured images as well as videos from the security camera. ADELIE can also produce statistics that intervention forces can then use as a basis. Operator positions: Ergonomics designed to simultaneously monitor 6 zones per operator. Alert management: Automatic detection of fires and forest fires signaled by ringing on operator station. Automatic detection of fires and forest fires signaled by sound signal. Fire and fire alerts and technical alerts on synoptic. Video on giant screen. |
