Panasonic Energy and Lucid Group entered into an agreement for supply of lithium ion batteries Panasonic Energy Co., Ltd., a Panasonic Group company, and Lucid Group, Inc entered into a multi-year agreement to supply batteries for Lucid's luxury electric vehicle, Lucid Air. Through this agreement, Panasonic's plan to expand the production capacity of lithium-ion batteries outside Japan and into the United States with production from both the facilities, in Japan and in De Soto, Kansas. The agreement assisted the company in its business expansion with expansion of production capacity. |
