Description

Coin Lithium Batteries

Product details:

  • Panasonic Coin Lithium batteries are providing safe power in devices
  • High energy density and high 3 V output voltage support the trend towards device miniaturization
  • A single Coin Lithium can sometimes replace two or three conventional coin batteries
  • Coin Lithium has evolved as one of the significant micro-battery for safe, long-lasting power in diverse applications, from household electronics to the IoT devices that energize smart society.

Structure:

  • Coin Lithium has a design that contributes to its endurance. Concave cathode case and dimpled anode surface increase material adhesion, limit a rise in internal resistance, and support stable voltage and efficient discharge for lasting power.

Cathode (+) Concave Case Design:

  • Improves adhesion, limits a rise in internal resistance, stabilizes discharge, and extends life

Anode (-) Dimpled Surface Design:

  • Increases adhesion to lithium and anode material, stabilizing discharge and extending life

The coin lithium batteries undergo the following tests:

  • Crush test: 1,300 kg pressure-test evaluates burst resistance
  • Long-term test: checks capacity after 5 years in storage
  • Heat stress test: confirms leak resistance in a -10–60 °C temperature range
  • Vibration test: proves stability in the harshest applications
