- N-Sea Group originated in 1932 as Noordhoek Shipping Company and expanded into diving contracting by 1959. It entered the North Sea subsea market in 1980 and ventured into EPC oil & gas services in 1996. The company launched its survey division in 2004 and developed the TUP Diving System in 2005. In 2011, it was rebranded as N-Sea following acquisition by equity firm VEP.
- Further growth included founding UXOcontrol in 2016 and expanding into subsea cables in 2020. After being acquired by Capital Sea & Partners in 2021, N-Sea opened a new offshore base in IJmuiden and expanded regionally into the UK, Poland, and UAE. With long-term vessel charters and acquisitions such as Geo Plus and UXOcontrol, N-Sea continues to strengthen its fleet. In 2025, it partnered with Rabobank and repaid its long-term debt, while planning new vessel builds and a support base, positioning itself for future growth.
