Mimecast declared on October 16, 2015, that company had submitted its registration statement in anticipation of a possible initial public offering (IPO). On July 10, 2018, cybersecurity training startup Ataata was bought by Mimecast. Solebit was acquired by Mimecast on July 31, 2018.
