A durable flat card personalization system, designed for use in the issuance of financial and government cards.

The Matica S5200G industrial card printer is ideally suited for high-speed, high-demand production environments, including those involved in government or financial card issuance.

This powerful mid-volume printer is engineered for speed and efficiency.

The S5200G offers single or dual-sided printing in full color or monochrome, along with magnetic stripe and/or contact and contactless chip encoding.

The S5200G integrates long-lasting, robust components with advanced software to meet various production needs.

It utilizes thermal transfer technology in monochrome mode, achieving an impressive output of 1,500 cards per hour (single-side, 10 mm) or 700 cards per hour (dual-sided, 10 mm).

In addition, the direct-to-card dye sublimation method enables vibrant, near edge-to-edge full-color images, reaching speeds of up to 380 cards per hour. Issuers can easily swap ribbons to switch between full color and monochrome printing modes.

Matica launches US manufacturing plant in Greer, South Carolina

Matica Group, a global provider of identity and payment solutions, has announced its continued expansion into the American market with the opening of a 38,000-square-foot facility in Greer, South Carolina. This new plant will primarily focus on the production of central issuance systems, including large-scale card personalization systems, as well as Matica’s popular desktop models.

With 200 employees worldwide and 11 facilities located across the globe from California to Malaysia, Matica Group has had a presence in the United States since 2010. The first branch opened in South Carolina, followed by additional offices in Minnesota and California. Until now, the regional offices in the US have primarily focused on logistics, technical support, and software development.
