MAN Energy Solutions originated from three German companies—St. Antony ironworks, Sander'sche Maschinenfabrik, and Eisengießerei Klett & Comp.—and became a pioneer in diesel engine development with Rudolf Diesel in the 1890s. It later built the first diesel-powered ocean vessel, the MS Selandia, in 1912. Over time, MAN expanded into marine engines, power generation, and industrial solutions, acquiring Burmeister & Wain post-WWII. In 1982, it achieved a milestone with a diesel engine exceeding 50% efficiency. In 2010, MAN Energy Solutions was formed from MAN Diesel and MAN Turbo, later shifting focus to sustainable energy, including hydrogen production and low-emission fuels. In June, 2023, MAN Energy Solutions sold its gas turbine business to CSIC Longjiang GH Gas Turbine Co Ltd (GHGT). |

MST010 Steam Turbine |
The MST010 Steam Turbine by MAN Energy Solutions is a high-performance turbine designed for both power generation and mechanical drive applications. It covers a power range of 0.5 to 1.5 MW and operates at a maximum steam inlet pressure of 45 bar and temperature of 450°C. Suitable for a wide range of industries, including Waste-to-Energy, Biomass, Geothermal, and Refineries, it is available in various models such as condensing, backpressure, and admission/extraction turbines. Key features include adaptable, space-saving designs, compliance with international standards (e.g., API 612), and modular components for quick installation. MAN offers comprehensive OEM services such as long-term service agreements, online services, and full lifecycle support. The MST010 turbine provides high efficiency, reliability, and long overhaul intervals, tailored to meet specific customer requirements. |
