L&T Valves offers range of high integrated pressure protection system, SIL3 for over pressure protection, The L&T Valves offers HIPPS system as a Safety Instrumented System (SIS), which by definition is a distinct, reliable system, used to contain catastrophic over-pressurisation and prevent the release of toxic, flammable or explosive chemicals.

HIPPS protects downstream equipment by shutting-off the source of over-pressure within seconds, and is designed to offer at least the same reliability as a safety relief valve or flare system. The industrial valves such as ball and butterfly valves are used as a component in HIPPD system in L&T Valves.The company has a series of successful innovations to its credit, including mission-critical solutions for defence and aerospace industries. The manufacturing facilities of L&T Valves are equipped with state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centres, CNC machines and facilities for critical tests:

Fabricated Steel Butterfly Valves

Aquaseal Max is a fabricated steel butterfly valve developed as an alternate for cast iron butterfly and sluice valves in water distribution systems. The highly reliable valve also finds application in power plants, utility and fire water lines, and HVAC systems. Customised Aquaseal Max can be used to handle air, gases and vacuum services. The valve has successfully under gone Proof of Design (POD) test as per AWWA C 504 and AWWA C 516.

The key feature of Aquaseal Max Fabricated Steel Butterfly Valve is a Self-energising Disc Seal that uses line pressure to provide assured sealing.

L&T Valves manufactures a versatile range of Process Ball Valves in single, two and three piece constructions. The valves are available in full-bore and regular-bore designs, in a variety of end connections and materials to suit customer requirements.

The valves are of floating-ball design where the ball moves towards the downstream seat, under pressure, to effect a tight seal.
