With a focus on custom solutions, IQ Spacecom provides advanced communication systems for multi-access satellite solutions, inter-satellite links (ISL), and IoT applications. The combination of superior hardware and software platforms allows for rapid adaptation to meet specific customer requirements.
IQ FireWatch: IQ FireWatch offers state-of-the-art early fire detection technology, capable of monitoring for smoke and heat around the clock. Initially developed for space applications, the patented technology was adapted for use in the Brandenburg Forest in Germany in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The system’s success led to its recognition in 2012 when it was inducted into the US Space Foundation’s Hall of Fame. IQ FireWatch is a multi-spectral sensor that has been calibrated for a variety of regions and operating conditions, with a particular focus on wildfires. The system has been continuously optimized for applications in wildland-urban/industrial interfaces (WUI) and industrial areas, and today protects over 24 million hectares of forest across four continents.
IQ Wireless: With decades of experience in the planning, construction, and operation of radio relay networks, IQ Wireless is a leader in providing fast, flexible, and modern radio transmission technology. The company’s expertise spans multiple generations of radio relay technology, delivering high-performance data rates for a wide range of applications. Innovative Detection Technology: Outperforms conventional wildfire detection methods like CCTV cameras, spectroscopy, and thermal infrared. Multi-Spectral Sensor: Processes data in real-time with synchronized sensors to ensure high precision across various regions, vegetation types, and weather conditions. Monochrome sensor for day surveillance Near-infrared sensor for night detection RGB sensor for additional spectral information Thermal infrared sensor (optional) for hot spot detection Expanded Spectral Range: Covers a broader spectrum (400-1100 nm) compared to the human eye or color cameras, allowing detection of hidden fires even at night. Can detect smoke plumes at distances of up to 50 km (30 miles) in perfect conditions, with reliable performance up to 20 km (12.4 miles) in less ideal conditions. RAW Data Processing: Utilizes raw data processing with proprietary algorithms, ensuring optimal performance without loss of information. Combines classic feature-based methods with advanced AI to reduce false alarms and improve detection speed.
