Corel was founded in 1985, and its journey into the graphics software world began in 1987 with the official launch of CorelDRAW, code-named “WALDO.” This marked the beginning of the development of a product that would soon captivate users with its innovative features. By 1991, CorelDRAW 2 was introduced, bringing revolutionary tools like Envelope, Blend, Extrude, and Perspective to the market, making complex graphic design accessible to users.
