Thermal Transfer Overprinter |
Thermal Transfer technology utilizes a thermal printhead consisting of individual ceramic resistors that are selectively heated to transfer the desired image from a coated ribbon directly onto the substrate. Key Advantages: Highly reliable technology that requires almost no maintenance TTO technology is highly reliable – in the unlikely event of a problem, simply changing the print head gets the printer running again. Easy to use – even without technical training TTO uses simple, effective engineering and design. Most problems can be solved by changing either the print head or the ribbon – operations that don’t require trained engineers. Large print area suitable for generic coding applications Large print area TTO is ideal for generic coding or other application requiring printing of a large amount of information, such as ingredient labels. It is an ideal date coding machine as variable information can be printed by it. High-quality prints for a premium look The TTO offers print resolution up to 300dpi, delivering high-quality prints that compliment your products. For example, it is an excellent date printing machine for the food and beverage industry. TTO printers offer a large print area, up to 107 x 100 mm using a large print head. Large print area TTO is ideal for generic coding or other application requiring printing of a large amount of information, such as ingredient labels. Companies with a variety of products often find themselves in the middle of a storage nightmare. Each SKU variant requires different packaging, all of which needs to be ordered and stored. Control Print Limited Acquired Netherlands-Based Markprint BV Control Print Limited, India’s one of the significant integrated Coding & Marking solutions providers announced the acquisition of Markprint BV, a world-wide supplier of high-speed printing and coding solutions. As part of the deal, Control Print has acquired 75% of Markprint B.V. for € 1.5 million through its Dutch Holding Company ControlPrint B.V. This is a strategic acquisition for Control Print both in terms of adding technical capabilities as well as getting a toehold in the European market. The acquisition gives Control Print complete access to Markprint’s technology related to high quality Single Pass Printing for Packaging & Industrial applications and will expand its product offering and integrated solutions for applications such as inventory control, branding, and traceability. |
