It generates almost all of its revenues, earnings, and cash flows from developing, manufacturing, and marketing a broad portfolio of products and services for its end markets. Coherent Corp. also generates revenue, earnings, and cash flows from government funded research and development contracts relating to the development and manufacture of new technologies, materials, and products.

Coherent Introduced New HighLight FL-ARM Fiber Lasers For Increased Welding Process Coherent Corp. (NYSE: COHR), a leader in industrial lasers and laser subsystems, today announced the introduction of new adjustable ring mode (ARM) lasers, part of the HighLight FL-ARM laser series, with significantly improved beam properties. Designed to enhance the control of the welding process over large working areas, the new ARM laser targets deep welding applications that are common in battery manufacturing for electric vehicles (EVs). The new HighLight FL-ARM lasers from Coherent feature longer collimated beam lengths and smaller spot sizes that enable high-quality deep welds with greater uniformity over large working areas. |

Coherent launched new 4kW fiber laser welding system Coherent’s new HighLight FL4000CSM-ARM fiber laser builds on the success of Coherent HighLight ARM fiber laser series, which is already qualified for automotive applications. The new laser enables more advanced welding capabilities for high thermal conductivity metals, and aligns to welding requirements for e-mobility, energy storage, and general electrical interconnects consisting of dissimilar materials, such as copper and aluminum, and foil stacks that require precise control. |
