The headline finding is a cleanly split market. Rather than one brand displacing another, preference divides along a fault line global enterprise scale on one side, sovereign regional depth on the other.

The financial signals reinforce the split. Jain's deep domestic infrastructure focus supports a projected consolidated turnover exceeding $735 million in fiscal 2026 at a targeted EBITDA margin of 14.5%, an order book exceeding 25 billion rupees in domestic micro-irrigation, and a plan to add 1.2 million acres of coverage by the end of 2026 under major sovereign development programs.
Beyond price, buyers told us their loyalty tracks with technology depth. Predictive weather automation software, automated filtration cleaning systems, and transparent water-use efficiency metrics increasingly decide the sale.
Material durability, smart sensor uptime, and localized technical-training access also rank high a reminder that in agriculture, service reach can matter as much as the hardware itself.
