At CES 2023, LG Electronics (LG) introduced cordless vaccum cleaner with its latest CordZero A9 Kompressor with Steam Power Mop, the company’s first cordless stick vacuum featuring steam-mopping functionality. This cutting-edge device even earned a CES 2023 Innovation Award and comes equipped with LG’s unique All-in-One Tower docking station, which stores, recharges, and automatically empties the vacuum.
Advanced Steam Mopping for a Deeper Clean
The CordZero A9 Kompressor features a detachable Steam Power Mop nozzle, enabling both wet and steam mopping for a convenient and effective cleaning experience—all without the need for detergent. The steam mop pads maintain a temperature of approximately 60°C (140°F), making them more effective than traditional wet mopping at removing stubborn stains, such as hardened chocolate. According to Intertek, a global testing and certification organization, LG’s steam-heated mop pads outperform conventional wet mops in lifting dirt from floors.
For added safety and efficiency, the Steam Power Mop nozzle includes:
- Twin sensors to prevent the steam generator from overheating.
- An automatic water supply system to keep mop pads consistently moist.
- Built-in safety mechanisms that shut off steam after 20 seconds of inactivity and stop mop pad rotation after one minute of non-use.
Powerful Vacuuming with Axial Turbo Cyclone
Beyond its mopping capabilities, the CordZero A9 Kompressor is equipped with LG’s Axial Turbo Cyclone technology, which delivers strong suction power to efficiently remove dust and debris from floors and household surfaces.
All-in-One Tower: Intelligent Docking & Storage
Included with the CordZero A9 Kompressor, the All-in-One Tower is a space-saving, fast-charging docking station that features:
- A removable dust bag and automated dustbin-emptying for added convenience.
- A real-time display providing status updates.
- Three distinct notification sounds for user alerts.
- Integrated storage for vacuum accessories.
