This naturally occurring acid has been garnered due to its potential as a renewable and eco-friendly alternative to petrochemical-based acids. In addition, bio itaconic is used to manufacture finishing agents, adhesives, sealants, paints, and coatings. These are generally used in several applications including dispersant agents, detergent builders, methyl methacrylate, synthetic latex, unbalanced polyester resin, and SBR latex.
