Infotainment, telematics or gateways, industrial equipment, and automobile zonal architecture are among its intended uses. Built into the new bridge IC is two 10 Gbps Ethernet Media Access Controllers (MAC) that handle many interfaces, such as USXGMII, XFI, SGMII, and RGMII.
