Boil-off gas compressors consist of a range of gas compressors designed for the management of LNG evaporation in C-type storage tanks and membrane LNG fuel tanks. Based on tank pressure principles, the capacity control system makes it ideal for controlling and maintaining tank pressure. Boil-off gas compressors market (BOG compressors) are used in liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and transportation to compress gas that evaporates from the LNG to prevent its release into the atmosphere.

Ethylene evaporates at different rates depending on the ambient circumstances and operational settings. The evaporated ethylene is recovered by passing the gas through a liquefaction process. The boil-off gas compression devices catch and recompress the evaporating gas during this operation. The gas is liquefied and recycled back into the tank after passing through a condensing chiller and expansion valve.Thus, the surge in the usage of BOG compressors for hydrocarbon production facilities propels the growth of the market.
