MAXAM shotshell cases and bases | Rio manufactures shotshell cases with raw materials. These cases are made of high-density polyethylene that is subject to a thermomechanical process (both axial and radial). This allows them to achieve an optimum elasticity that has an effect on a better sealing of the cartridge and how it fits with the base. These cases are available in standard cases, metallic cases, and transparent cases. Maxam also produces bases using a high-precision progressive stamping process. Due to their great resistance, they are able to withstand extremely high pressures and guarantee the cohesion of the cartridge. These bases are available in two finishes including brass or nickel-plated. |
